Dr. Judith Condit

Dr. Condit's academic background includes a M.A. degree in Psychology from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.  She is certified by the American Psychological Association for the treatment of addiction disorders and is a Clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

     Dr. Condit's experience draws from a wide range of clinical settings, including:  Community mental health; Chicago's Cook County Psychiatric Institute (Forensic Psychology); Psychiatric hospitals; Family Systems outpatient clinic; University student counseling and over 20 years of private practice in the Chicago area.  Dr. Condit limits her practice to adolescents and adults of all ages.  (Children under the age of 12 will be treated only within the context of family therapy.)  She has had extensive therapeutic experience with emphasis in treating both depression and anxiety disorders, addiction disorders as well as couples and families. 

Dr. John Peltz  

Dr. Peltz has a Master's degree from Marquette University and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Chicago as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.  He holds a certification in addiction disorders from the American Psychological Association. 

     Dr. Peltz's breadth of experience stems from a variety of clinical settings:  Community mental health; Psychiatric hospitals; University student counseling and 20 years of private practice in the Chicago area.  His clinical interests include intimacy and relationship growth and personal deterioration due to stress, depression and anxiety.  In recent years he has presented workshops on the interplay between spirituality and psychotherapy, wellness consulting, and marital counseling.
